Welcome to the Homepage of my website.

The primary purpose of this site is to post my various writings so as to make them available for downloading and reading. Currently there are 9 works being offered: 3 novels, 2 humor books, a short fiction compilation and 3 screenplays. You’ll also find Blurbs, Reader Reviews, and Free Excerpts designed to give you a feel for the story and style of each book.

This website is the culmination of 10 years of work. I started Ripples in a Pond in January 2000 and since then it's been the uncommon day I've not spent a good portion of at the laptop writing new bits or tweaking ones I thought were done. Most of my adult life was spent working in music – keyboards and vocals – but since living in India writing has been my passion. I’ve discovered the creative process is fundamentally the same even if the medium is different and that my musical background proves useful in writing as sentences and paragraphs have their own rhythms and syncopation. Whether in prose or songwriting, the words need to flow and be in a groove.

In addition to Blurbs, Reviews, Free Excerpts and an Interview, you'll find Photos of me from over the years so you can watch my hair turn gray and a page called Writers on Writing, a collection of insightful and amusing quotes from well-known authors.
